Isekai Saga: Awaken! What is it??
Looking for another mid-tier idle game that lives for whales. Isekai Saga: Awaken is just the right game for you. Made by Watt Games this mobile game was recently released at the end of 2024. Despite me saying it’s mid, the game does have a 4.7 out of 5 rating in the App Store. Let’s dive more into this game and my opinions about it.

What You Looking Like Isekai Saga?
Isekai Saga visual art style is not a surprise, it’s an anime theme. The art is meant to target a certain audience, the weebs. This isn’t the Japanese style of anime. I say this anime art is more considered a Chinese anime art style. The characters models I feel I don’t need to explain because a good amount of y’all already know how these games work. The big disappointment is the UI in the game. I felt it was a cluster f*ck of different options of pay-to-win aspects. The text is a little bit too small and I’m nearsighted. The UI needs the clean-up crew at this point.

The Gameplay
I’m gonna be honest with y’all. Playing through the game, I was having more this is some bull crap thoughts compared to this is fun. You’re able to do quite a bit at the beginning of the game. You have main stages to complete, trials, towers, and other little activities to do. But once you hit a certain level or you have been playing for too long, you hit this ridiculous wall. Everything is so slowed down. For example, your level is tied heavily to the main stages, so you end up reaching a certain point and have to stop because of level is locked. I understand you don’t want players flying through your game, but don’t start limiting your players content. You lose a huge amount of players and you bring in the seasonal type of players. Those players keep making new accounts on the new servers just to be top rankings. It’s like a competitive idle game for whales. Whales mean the people who don’t mind dropping 1,000 dollars on a game because why not? Of course, you can level up heroes and equipment. Your heroes don’t have the equipment, those are separate. Supposedly, characters have different roles like tank, heals, and damage, but you can’t tell what type of character it is.
In Conclusion
If you’re a whale that doesn’t like to play the game that much to be top rank, this is the game for you my boy. Seriously, this game has a lot of potential but needs a lot of fixing as well. Wouldn’t change the art style of the game, but the UI needs some attention. I know the target audience for this game and they are pleased with the character models. Watt Games, if you read this just know, stop limiting your players’ in-game resources like silver and exp. I shouldn’t be struggling to level up heroes more than starting them up. It should be opposite. I think y’all should make the missions more challenging and force players to think about the heroes they put out on the field. Isekai Saga: Awaken gets a 46 out of 100.
